  • It must be true either that without… repentance, forgiveness of [sins] is not possible… or that these things contribute nothing to salvation
  • People who lack faith for want of repentance are on the road to hell
  • Those who have faith simply, trusting it to be so, and having confidence in the imputation of the Lord’s merit, are without sins (they think)
  • Think with some understanding, and if you have any religion you will see that repentance from sins is the way to heaven
